Just like the times it was first introduced to Sri Lanka, batik has become the realm of village-based women, who create beautiful designs on cloth with just the dexterity of their hands and pure imagination. One such woman was Jeysiththira, who combined her inherent design skills, years of experience, solid work ethic and business skills to create Mullai Batik and Tailoring.
Located in the picturesque town of Puthukudiyiruppu, Mullaitivu in Sri Lanka's North, the beautiful surrounds gave Jeysiththira the inspiration more than 20 years ago to forge ahead with her dream.
Today, our products stand out in the market because we are not only elegant and progressive in our designs, but our pricing structure is realistic. Our designs are exclusive but not eccentric, and our customer engagement is one of close and personal relationships. We are a truly Sri Lankan company immersed in the traditional warmth and kindness of Sri Lankan industry of the past.
